It's been just a bit over a month and I'm still unemployed. I've only had one interview, but that's typical for this area. The Hartford area is pretty slow on the job market, and I don't see things improving at all. I wish I could make a living online, but the donations I receive for this site just barely cover the costs of the bandwidth. Maybe if every viewer of this site tells 4 people to go here I may get a few more donations. So that's your task for the next week: bring in four new members.

I was surfing on Amazon for a few books that I wanted and ended up making a wish list. Amazon's interface sucks, it's almost impossible to find your own wish list. But there's the link. If anyone wants to buy me a some food or get Dog(tm) some food that would be great. And the book I have on the list ("The Rum Diary") is one I've wanted to read ever since I started reading HST. I noticed when I was looking for a link to my own wish list that there were four other people with my name that had wish lists. Why can't I find my own list? The other pseudo mes have somewhat similar tastes.

Tomorrow night I'll be at the Red Sox game in Boston against Oakland. That should be a good game. It looks like they may win tonight, but I don't want to make any predictions before the game is over. If you happen to be watching the game tomorrow night, watch for me in grandstand 4 row 14. I'll be there with my father (who never took me to a baseball game!), and my friends Brian and Kevin (who runs bosox1.com)

I have one hamburger, some frozen curley fries, and a half a gallon of milk. Totally serious about the food thing, the dog has two days of food left and unemployment only pays the rent.
