Plan for Social Security relies on an immediate, familiar Bush strategy

The run-up to President Bush's plan to deal with Social Security is looking a lot like the run-up to his plan to deal with Saddam Hussein.

OK, I have a problem with this "news" article. It is in their national news section, but it isn't news at all. It's commentary. It should be on the editorial page, not in the news section, and it should be clearly labled as editorial commentary. It's pure conjecture and nothing is substatiated. This is a liberal version of the same manipulative crap Fox News uses.

Finally, the liberals start to fight back using the same dirty tricks, about time!

Your point is well taken, Juniper, but none of us are served by manipulation. I put a lot of blame for the fucked up state of American politics on the the media. They haven't been doing their jobs for a long time now.
