And it's only leaking at this point. This isn't good, of course, since it is happening in a very pristine area, but the Coast Guard and others are working the problem as best they may. Their goal is to get on board and empty the fuel tanks.
The American media makes me sick sometime. The situation in Iraq is a like a turd circling the toilet and they are being shrill about a cargo vessel leaking fuel in Alaska? It's news, yes. But this is not a major oil spill, even if that freighter dumps all it's fuel. Or could it be that we are being deliberrately distracted once again?
