Good job Bush. Now with the election coming up and you not getting back in, we have another friggin problem to deal with. They won't back down... they know we have an election in just a couple days and made this decision anyway. Of course, all Bush needs to do is declare war and he's in...or is it National Emergency... I forget now that I think about it.

NeoCon - maybe not the voice of the people, but certainly the voice of the governing people.

It doesn't matter who's in the parliament or not, it still rules the country. If Israel does anything (which I doubt since they have enough problems as it is) then they were be murmed dissent about how Israel is working to protect it's benefactor (the US) and that won't help our position anywhere at all.

Not saying they won't. I'm saying I doubt they will simply because they are so wound up in everything else. Also, with the election going the was it is so far, our country will be in a transition of sorts with policy changes and officials changing positions. Israel, as strong willed as a country as it is, gets alot of support from the US and I don't think that they'll feel confident enough to tackle this at this time (with our own country not solid on the policies that will be changing) on their own without some elaborate means. At least they won't go in right away, I doubt at all on their own. What makes this different is the sentiment Iran expressed in their decision. They're not screaming about Israel although they might very well be on the list. With those announced sentiments, if Israel goes in early or with US support, the world will scream about them protecting their self interests and relations with the US. If they go in late, if at all, then it becomes a world issue and other countries will feel sorrier (not necessarily sorry for, but feel some sort of empathy towards) for Israel. Personally, I wonder what the world's countries and religions would think if someone dropped a very large nuke on these holy lands... I would say that that would change things like Revelations for a couple thousand years until things cool off. I'm just sick on the whole issue about how those people over there can't even work things out.
