How to Speak and Write Correctly - To use a big word or a foreign word when a small one and a familiar one will answer the same purpose, is a sign of ignorance. Great scholars and writers and polite speakers use simple words.

Basically, that's literally true.

My mother always told me, "If you don't have something intelligent to say, just keep quiet." Apparently, Chairman Nony's mother never told him that. Chairman Nony is an unctuous, clueless mafia don of epic proportions. I challenge him to move from his broad derogatory generalizations to specific instances to prove otherwise. Perhaps Chairman Nony received his information (or rather, misinformation) from late-night television programs and "B" movies.

Regardless of whether we consider Mr. Roddy a lunatic, an evil aggressor, or whatever, and based on his comments and postings here on codewolf there there are two observations that one can make here. The first is that the fact that Mr. Roddy does not believe his own rhetoric. The second observation is that there are intolerant persons in our midst. These shards of empirical evidence suggest that I'm no psychiatrist. Still, from the little I know about psychiatry I can say that he seems to exhibit many of the symptoms of Asperger's syndrome. I don't say that to judge but merely to put his snooty overgeneralizations into perspective.

Let me simply suggest, therefore, that Mr. Roddy quests to shame my name.

As I reread what I've written up to this point, I'm truly disappointed that I lack Demosthenes's oratorical acumen.
