Ted Nugent slams Chief Justice Roberts, muses about secession
- Memo to the Supreme Court: Ted Nugent is not a fan of this Obamacare business.
The guitar hero of the GOP sounded off about the nuances of politics and health care policy in The Washington Times on Friday, giving Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts the full blast of his disdain from his platform on the right-leaning paper's op-ed page.
Nugent set the tone of his piece with a startling opening salvo: "With Chief Justice Roberts' vote to save Obamacare, I was reminded of what my dad told me more than 50 years ago: Never trust a man who wears a black robe. He might be naked under there."
