Fermilab homes in on Higgs mass - Experiments at Fermilab have narrowed the range of possible masses for the Higgs Boson – the elusive particle that physicists hope to see for the first time at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC). The results rule out about one quarter of the previous mass range for the Higgs and boost the chances that it will be rather lightweight – and therefore more difficult to detect.
