Babylon Ruins Reopen in Iraq, to Controversy - NYTimes.com - After decades of dictatorship and disrepair, Iraq is celebrating its renewed sovereignty over the Babylon archaeological site — by fighting over the place, over its past and future and, of course, over its spoils.
