One of these days, a peaceful protest is going to go expecting trouble and armed with some heavy shit. As soon as the police whip out their riot gear and start beating on people, the blood will flow. It's almost time for the revolution.

It would make sense - If police get into a habit of attacking peaceful protesters, sooner or later one protesting group is going to come prepared for it. It's an issue (among others) of self-defense.
