Won't go far at all, especially with patients who can't afford to take a week or two off to leave the country.

If you have to stay in the hospital for anything major, you're taking time off anyway. And arguably, one can take meds and rest while on the flight there, and have R&R during the flight home.

True enough, but if you're elderly, low-income, or too ill to travel, domestic healthcare would be the best choice. Healthcare laws are also different depending on the country in question. It to me just seems like a recipe for disaster, but I'll have to do further research on the topic.

Great, now health care too is in the unregulated hands of the Chinese. Don't be surprised when you pick up HIV from unsterilized equipment that probably contains lead and GHB as well.

Didn't think of that, but good point.
