They had 250,000 bees buzzing around under their trailer and they were not concerned?!?!?

Surfer Wrote the following on 08/28/2006 7:37 PM : "The average person can tolerate between 4 to 10 bee stings per 10 pounds of body weight unless they are allergic to the insects, Barta said. In a 150-pound person, that equates to about 100 stings."
I see they don't pick reporters for their multiplication skills.
10 stings/10 pounds = 1 sting per pound. Therefore, 150 pounds = 150 stings. If you count 4 stings per 10 pounds, it's 1 sting per 2.5 pounds. Therefore, 60 stings for a 150 pound person. Even if you average the high and the low, it's 150+60 = 210/2=110 stings. When you're talking about that many bees and that many stings, every sting really counts.
