Terror Suspects Grilled, Mocked on Hit Iraqi Show - Iraq's hottest new television program is a reality show. But the players are not there by choice. And they don't win big bucks, a new spouse or a dream job.

Instead, all the characters on "Terrorism in the Hands of Justice" are captured suspected insurgents. And for more than a month, they have been riveting viewers with tales of how they killed, kidnapped, raped or beheaded other Iraqis, usually for a few hundred dollars per victim.

Isn't there something that seems very strange about a show like this? Is this the democracy that we have offered the iraqis? The freedom to put people on TV and interrogate them. To privately beat and even kill one of them. Is this due process and a fair trial?

Perhaps this is what the US wants for itself.

1st someone... insurgent attacks peaked towards the elections, now they are back at the same level they were before ... The elections didn't change a thing, nor will this show. It will just harden them to resist and fight to the bitter end. Same thing happened in Europe during WWII when the Gestapo started torturing people and excecuting them in public. The resistance fighters just made sure they died.

Yeah PoPo, Nothing like life torture on TV... Guess where the evil and hate will be... in front of the camera or in front of the TV... gloating and salivating... or are you into some bizarre kind of Bondage and S&M maybe, that you would pay money to watch this? Don't worry some enterprising Porn company will bring it out on DVD like they did with the beheadings...

That is way way too funny! Glad I caught it before logging out. Now I'm going to have the hick-ups from laughing!
