NSFW - Tits (or words to that effect...) on Vimeo - I've had 24 professional shoots in 25 days. I've had no time to shoot glamour. So, to keep me (somewhat) sane, I put this montage together of some of my favorite models and some of their most wonderful parts. I guess I was pissed when I started putting this together. "Tits" was the pissed-off name I started out with. But as I went back and pulled out footage for this that I hadn't used, I softened. I'm no longer pissed. Thanks for letting me indulge myself... The Musalman - Preservation of a Dream - YouTube - The 'Musalman' is probably the last handwritten newspaper in the world. It has been published and read every day in South India's Chennai since 1927 in almost the same form. In the shadow of the Wallajah Mosque in Chennai, a team of six die hard workers still put out this hand-penned paper. Four of them are katibs -- writers dedicated to the ancient art of Urdu calligraphy. It's tough for the die-hard artists of Urdu calligraphy. But the story we tell here is not just of their desperation and despair. The fact is, at the office of 'The Musalman', the oldest Urdu daily in India, no one has ever quit. They work till they pass on. This is the story we tell.

Kuriositas - It is hard to give up smoking, especially if you have been doing it and enjoying it all your adult life. However, sometimes life can be a little cruel and here an inveterate chain smoker finds herself in sheltered accommodation for the elderly – where smoking is forbidden. Add to that a caretaker who is more than keep to stop people indulging in their tobacco vices and you have something akin to a geriatric covert operation which, you know, is never going to go well!Chainsmoker was created Ulf Lundgren of Lost Liner Productions back in 2001 but it has only just seen the light of day in terms of the internet. I have to say that although it is over a decade old the digital techniques used here still stand up very well indeed. Yet the most important elements of animation – character and plot – ensure that it would still be more than watchable however it was made.

Frangin - Frangin, which loosely translates in to English as bro or my brother, is the story of a young boy who watches his older brother go off to war (it looks like the Great War). So, he waits for a reply...This rather melancholy animated short was created by Geoffroy Moneyron for his degree project at EMCA Angouleme. It tells a simple tale and so is simply drawn but its message is rather more profound.

TAKE A RIDE IN THE LOCKHEED U-2 SPY PLANE - Received by email, origin unknown. You can see why the U-2 is considered the most difficult plane in the world to fly. Each pilot has a co-pilot, who chases the plane on the runway in a sports car. Most of the cars are either Pontiac GTOs or Chevrolet Camaros —the Air Force buys American. The chase cars talk the pilot down as he lands on bicycle-style landing gear.In that spacesuit, the pilot in the plane simply cannot get a good view of the runway. Upon takeoff, the wings on this plane, which extend 103 feet from tip to tip, literally flap. To stabilize the wings on the runway, two pogo sticks on wheels prop up the ends of the wings. As the plane flies away, the pogo sticks drop off. The plane climbs at an amazing rate of nearly 10,000 feet a minute. Within about four minutes,I was at 40,000 feet, higher than any commercial airplane. We kept going up to 13 miles above Earth's surface. You get an incredible sensation up there. As you look out the windows, it feels like you're floating, it feels like you're not moving, but you're actually going 500 mph.. The U-2 was built to go higher than any other aircraft. In fact today, more than 50 years since it went into production, the U-2 flies higher than any aircraft in the world with the exception of the space shuttle..It is flying more missions and longer missions than ever before — nearly 70 missions a month over Iraq and Afghanistan , an operational tempo that is unequaled in history. The pilots fly for 11 hours at a time, sometimes more than 11 hours up there alone. By flying so high, the U-2 has the capability of doing reconnaissance over a country without actually violating its airspace. It can look off to the side, peering 300 miles or more inside a country without actually flying over it. It can "see" in the dark and through clouds. It can also "hear," intercepting conversations 14 miles below. The U-2, an incredible piece of history and also a current piece of high technology, is at the center of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan .Enjoy the ride! Lockheed U-2Take A Ride in a Spy Plane,

Brigitte Gabriel: Islam Unveiled - According to Gabriel, during the Lebanese Civil War, militants launched an assault on a Lebanese military base near her family's house and bombed her home. Gabriel reports that she and her parents were forced to live in an 8'x10' bomb shelter underground for seven years with only a small kerosene heater, no sanitary systems, no electricity or running water and little food. To get water she states that she had to crawl in a ditch alongside a road to a spring in order to evade Muslim snipers.
Later, in 1978, Gabriel says a man warned her family of an impending attack on Christians by militias. She says that her life was saved that night when Israelis invaded Lebanon in Operation Litani. Later, her mother was seriously injured and was taken to an Israeli hospital where Gabriel noted the humanity of the Israelis in contrast to the propaganda against the Jews she says she saw as a child.
